Acceptance of Payment Terms
By purchasing services from Derfamuto, you agree to these payment terms. These terms apply to all transactions processed through our platform and govern the financial relationship between you and our company.
Service Fees and Pricing
All prices are listed in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise specified. Pricing for services is displayed on our website and may be updated periodically. Current pricing at the time of your subscription or purchase will apply to your transaction.
Derfamuto reserves the right to modify pricing with advance notice to active subscribers. Price changes will not affect existing subscription periods already paid for.
Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Major credit cards
- Debit cards
- Electronic bank transfers
- Other payment processors as indicated during checkout
All payment information is processed securely through third-party payment processors. Derfamuto does not store complete credit card information on our servers.
Billing Cycles
Services may be offered on various billing cycles including monthly, quarterly, or annual terms. Your billing cycle is established at the time of purchase and will continue automatically unless canceled.
Recurring charges will be processed on the anniversary date of your initial subscription. You will receive notification prior to each billing cycle.
Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You are responsible for canceling your subscription if you do not wish to continue service.
Payment Authorization
By providing payment information, you authorize Derfamuto to charge the applicable fees to your selected payment method. You represent that you have the legal right to use the payment method provided.
You agree to maintain current and accurate payment information. Failure to update payment details may result in service interruption.
Failed Payments
If a payment fails or is declined, we will attempt to notify you and may retry the charge. Continued payment failures may result in:
- Suspension of service access
- Account downgrade to free tier if available
- Termination of your account
- Collection efforts for outstanding amounts
You remain responsible for all outstanding fees even if service is suspended or terminated.
Refund Policy
Refund eligibility depends on the specific service purchased and circumstances of your request. Generally:
- Services are provided immediately upon purchase
- Refunds may be considered within a specified period after purchase
- Partial billing period refunds are calculated on a pro-rata basis
- Processing fees and third-party costs may be non-refundable
To request a refund, contact our support team with your account details and reason for the request. Each case is reviewed individually.
No Refunds for Partial Use
Subscription fees are charged for the entire billing period. Canceling mid-cycle does not automatically entitle you to a refund for unused time unless otherwise specified in writing.
Taxes and Additional Fees
Prices do not include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for all sales tax, use tax, value-added tax, and other taxes associated with your purchase based on your location.
Additional fees such as transaction charges, currency conversion fees, or bank processing fees may apply depending on your payment method and location.
Late Payments
Accounts with overdue payments may be subject to:
- Late payment fees as permitted by law
- Suspension of service until payment is received
- Referral to collection agencies
- Legal action to recover outstanding amounts
Interest may accrue on unpaid balances at the maximum rate permitted by applicable law.
Cancellation and Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting customer support. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Derfamuto reserves the right to terminate accounts for non-payment, violation of terms, or fraudulent activity. Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations for services already provided.
Effect of Cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- You will retain access until the end of the paid period
- No additional charges will be made after the current cycle
- Your data may be deleted according to our retention policy
- No refunds will be issued for the remaining subscription period unless otherwise stated
Disputed Charges
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate all disputed charges promptly.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Derfamuto may result in immediate account suspension and may affect your ability to use our services in the future.
Currency and Conversion
All transactions are processed in Canadian Dollars. If your payment method uses a different currency, your financial institution will convert the charge at their current exchange rate. Currency conversion fees are determined by your bank or payment provider.
Free Trials and Promotional Offers
Promotional pricing and free trial offers may be available for new customers. Terms and duration will be clearly stated at the time of sign-up.
At the end of a free trial, your payment method will be charged automatically unless you cancel before the trial period ends. You are responsible for tracking trial expiration dates.
Payment Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your payment information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. You use our payment services at your own risk.
Never share your account credentials or payment information with unauthorized parties. Derfamuto will never request sensitive payment details via email or phone.
Invoice and Receipt
You will receive electronic receipts for all payments processed through our platform. Receipts are sent to the email address associated with your account.
Detailed invoices are available through your account dashboard. You are responsible for maintaining records of your transactions.
Modifications to Payment Terms
Derfamuto may update these payment terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated through email notification or prominent notice on our website.
Continued use of services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. If you do not agree to changes, you must cancel your subscription.
Limitation of Liability
Derfamuto is not liable for any delays or failures in payment processing caused by your payment provider, bank, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We are not responsible for any overdraft fees, insufficient fund charges, or other bank fees resulting from payments to Derfamuto.
